Thriving Local Community
GHR’s founders saw firsthand, through their children’s academic experience, the profound value of receiving a high-quality education rooted in Catholic faith from an early age.
They understood that the strength of any community is reflected in the educational opportunities its young people can access and pursue.
Today, GHR is advancing this legacy in support of strong Catholic schools where every student can thrive.
Partner Spotlights
CNA Pilot Program
The Certified Nursing Assistance Pilot is providing Cristo Rey High School students with an extraordinary opportunity to explore healthcare careers while gaining hands-on skills. In partnership with St. Catherine’s University, students are learning the fundamentals such as taking blood pressure, reading pulse-ox monitors, and other essential clinical practices. Early results show participants are thriving – with all students passing their CNA certifications exams on their first attempt.
With work-study placements lined up for the following year, corporate partners are already expressing strong enthusiasm for the program. This pilot is not only prepping students for professional pathways but also igniting their confidence and excitement for future careers in healthcare.
