GHR has made a long-term commitment to building racial consciousness and implementing anti-racist practices into all aspects of our organization. We exist to be of service to people and their limitless potential for good, and we consider anti-racism essential to our guiding purpose. We recognize that the path to achieving racial equity is a long one, and we simultaneously affirm the need for urgent and immediate intervention.
Through individual and all-staff coaching, we have come to understand that race takes different forms in different cultural contexts, but racism remains persistent and pervasive in every community, country, and continent in which GHR works. Therefore, we will continue to learn and act alongside our local and global partners, communities and sector leaders in dismantling systemic racism together.
