GHR Foundation recently marked the 40th anniversary of its partner the Association of Consecrated Women in Eastern and Central Africa (ACWECA). ACWECA represents the national associations of women religious from nine countries. GHR has worked with ACWECA-affiliated Catholic sisters to provide counseling training in Uganda and other African nations.
In a congratulatory note to the ACWECA leadership, GHR Chair and Executive Director Amy Goldman said, “GHR recognizes and appreciates ACWECA’s vision and the ways it has transformed so many lives.”
GHR congratulates ACWECA on its significant tenure of service and expresses its gratitude for the important work ACWECA does to strengthen communities by empowering women religious.
