Meg Gehlen Nodzon

Portfolio Director

Meg Nodzon has more than thirteen years of experience in philanthropy, specializing in Catholic higher education and national-level engagement with Catholic Church leadership. Her work is grounded in a deep commitment to capacity building, strategic partnership, and advancing mission-driven institutions to meet evolving needs.

Nodzon serves as a connector and bridge-builder across Catholic higher education and Church leadership networks throughout the United States. She supports Catholic higher education Legacy partners in strengthening institutional capacity, embracing innovation, and taking strategic risks that position them for long-term sustainability and impact. Her approach centers on trust-based philanthropy, thoughtful stewardship, and accompaniment — walking alongside partners as they discern opportunities for growth and transformation.

At the national level, Nodzon collaborates closely with Catholic leaders to advance initiatives grounded in the social justice vision of Pope Leo XIV. Her work strengthens organizations that serve the highest levels of the U.S. Church, providing strategic support in leadership formation, institutional capacity, and communications. Through this engagement, she helps equip Church leaders with the tools, frameworks, and partnerships necessary to lead in an increasingly complex landscape.

In addition to her portfolio leadership, Nodzon leads the Enkel Foundation, a forum for young family philanthropists to create a culture of giving. She sits on the board of directors at National Catholic Reporter, and the board of The O’Shaughnessy, a public performing arts venue located on the campus of St. Catherine University. In her community, Nodzon is a running coach with Moms on the Run, helping women meet their goals whether learning how to run or returning to running.

Nodzon earned a Master’s degree from Hamline University and a Bachelor’s degree from the University of St. Thomas.
