Keyna Skeffington retired in 2022 as senior vice president and general counsel at LivaNova, a $1 billion medical device manufacturer listed on Nasdaq and based in the UK. In addition to the legal team, Skeffington led the ethics & integrity, privacy and risk teams.
Prior to that, Skeffington served as vice president, corporate & securities and assistant secretary at Medtronic. During her 13 years at Medtronic, she initially advised the company on quarterly and annual financial reporting and other public company disclosure rules required by the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, corporate governance, and equity-based compensation, and within a few years also assumed responsibility for legal support to the company’s board of directors, and Medtronic groups responsibility for mergers and acquisitions, minority investments, tax, information technologies and indirect sourcing. She also served as partner at Faegre and Benson, and associate at Doherty Rumble & Butler. Skeffington currently serves as chair of the board at Hill Museum & Manuscript Library and is a trustee at Visitation School. She received a JD at Tulane University and an AB at Mount Holyoke College in international relations and Russian. |
