Keyna Skeffington retired in 2023 as Senior Vice President and General Counsel of LivaNova plc, a $1.2 billion global medical device company based in London, England and listed on Nasdaq. In addition to the legal team, Skeffington led the ethics & integrity, privacy and risk teams, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
Prior to that, Skeffington served as Vice President, Corporate & Securities and Assistant Corporate Secretary at Medtronic. During her 13 years at Medtronic, she advised its Board of Directors and company executives on various matters, including corporate governance, securities laws applicable to financial filings and public disclosures, debt offerings, mergers and acquisitions, minority investments, information technology, equity compensation, and indirect sourcing contracts. Before joining Medtronic, she was a partner at Faegre and Benson LLP (now Faegre Drinker Biddle & Reath LLP). Skeffington currently serves as Chair of the Board at Hill Museum & Manuscript Library (HMML), a Trustee of Visitation School, and a member of the Finance Committee for St. Thomas the Apostle parish. She received a JD from Tulane University Law School and a BA from Mount Holyoke College in International Relations and Russian. |
