Cecilia is the Program Associate for the Thriving Local Communities program. In this role, she supports high-quality grants management, program operations, and learning practices that contribute to the department’s community-centered impact goals. Her work focuses on internal collaboration across initiatives, helping ensure seamless execution, learning, and strategic alignment.
Prior to joining GHR, Cecilia served as a Lead Teacher at Great Hearts Irving, where she developed curriculum strategies, cultivated inclusive classroom environments, and worked closely with families and educators to support student development. She also brings experience in team coordination, planning, and administrative support through previous roles in education, the arts, and small business settings.
Cecilia earned her B.A. in Psychology, magna cum laude, from the University of Dallas.
