Prior to joining U.S. Bank, Welsh was a senior partner of McKinsey & Company. In his 25 years with the Firm, Welsh served clients throughout the financial services and consumer industries. He has served some of the nation’s leading insurers, banks, investment firms, consumer packaged goods, retailers and health care companies on issues of strategy, organization and operations. Within McKinsey, Welsh played several leadership roles to help guide the global institution. He served on the Firm’s shareholders council and was a member of the director review committee.
